Video and Motion Design are my chosen mediums but storytelling is the art form that underpins everything I do.
I have worked in many industries — including at a circus where an elephant named Daisy ate my school tie. My journey in visual media began in graphic design and ventured into television production, where I worked on Big Brother South Africa, Fear Factor, and All You Need is Love.
Today's social content landscape allows me to use incredible tools and channels to create and share far more. I can still spend hours in an edit suite tweaking a graphic to find the perfect harmony between a font, a colour, a symphony, and the story they're embellishing. At the end of the day it's about finding the most efficient and effective way to tell the story so that it's seen and shared by so many more.
It's the story I remember. It's the story that shapes my feelings. It's the story that reminds me that I am a part of the story.
